Food paradise alert! It’s no surprise if you hear a Singaporean say they will go to Penang on a food pilgrimage annually. The food really is that good and you know that food is a top conversation starter for Singaporeans, always. The previous time I went to this food paradise city was in 2015 and prior to that, I was going there every 6 months. Now, here’s a round-up of my favourite of favourites.

  • Explore penang street art. Something you must not miss. Georgetown is famous for having beautiful wall paintings that reflect the culture and lige. They are also protected under the UNESCO Heritage Site.
  • Little India. Expect to see rows of shops selling colourful sarees and fragrant spices
  • Chinese Temples such as Kek Lok Si and Snake Temple
  • Hike up Penang Hill
